Corona Cases World Wide

Corona Cases in Canada

I've run out of productive things to do.

As classes come to a close and job prospects for the summer seem to vanish entirely, isolation has become increasingly dreary. I'm still enjoying being with my family, although we've implemented pyramids and survivor votes to rank each others behaviour during the week.

I haven't heard anything from my job interview but they said they'd let me know either way so hopefully I'll be hearing some type of news soon. If not, Trudeau said he would look in to ways to help students who are unable to get jobs this summer financially almost like the CERB. I made at least $5000 last summer so I would qualify in that aspect but I haven't directly lost a job due to the virus which is why I am unable to apply for CERB. Everything is very up in the air right now about what we're going to be doing in terms of financial aid, how it will be taxed, who will qualify ect.

I completed my model of the titanic but I still have yet to do any writing. I feel bad about my lack of writing during quarantine but I also realize I need to be kind to myself in this stressful time. I wish to pursue some more now that my classes are finishing.

I finished my last essay and now I only need to complete my finals. I have four of them left to complete and only one will be during the assigned time as usual. The others will be in more of a take home format where I have two days to a week to complete them depending on the course.

I haven't seen Carson in three weeks now. At first it was difficult being separated from my friends and boyfriend but now I'm getting used to it. We've begun to use various forms of media to stay connected, like FaceTime and Squad for those who don't have an iPhone. We've been having wine nights through these video applications and kept in touch with out long distance family in mass form through zoom.

Like I mentioned, this past Sunday was Easter and we were unable to see our family or Carson's family. It was just the four of us plus the two dogs. We had a really nice slow cooker ham and scalloped potatoes. Before dinner we used zoom to video call with our family in Ontario. Each one of my moms four brothers and their many children were able to get on the call in their respective houses so we had a total of about twenty five different screens on the call.

Anyway, that's the update for right now. Not much has happened since the last one. I'll try to update more frequently.
